Good comments are great. Bad comments are the radioactive waste of the internet. We’d like lots of good comments here at DR. Not so much the radioactive waste. With that in mind, here are the rules commenting at DR:
1. Please comment constructively. Trolling is obviously bad, but even cheerleading doesn’t add much.
2. Please comment respectfully.
3. Please realize that the Internet never forgets. Don’t post anything on DR (or anywhere else) that you don’t want publicly available.
4. The interpretation and application of these rules is at the discretion of the DR Editors. We will try to be fair and consistent, but moderation is ultimately a judgment call and on this site ours is the only judgment that matters.
